A furnace that won't ignite, short-cycles, or keeps tripping its limit switch needs more than a reset in Port Angeles winters. Every visit includes a carbon monoxide safety check, standard, not an upsell.
Furnace failures in Port Angeles cluster around a handful of parts — ignitors, flame sensors, gas valves, heat exchangers. Each gets tested with a multimeter and combustion analyzer, not replaced on a hunch, not parts-cannon guessing.
What doesn't change from visit to visit.
A combustion analyzer reading for dangerous CO levels is part of every visit, not optional.
We bump no-heat calls ahead of routine visits when it's cold.
A fixed price is set before repairs start.
Both fuel types get the same trained tech, no exceptions.
Six repairs that cover most of our winter calls.
These two parts are behind most no-heat visits, usually a same-visit fix.
We test actual response and pressure output rather than replacing an expensive part on a hunch before we recommend replacing it.
We inspect carefully with proper equipment rather than assuming based on age.
Short-cycling or mid-cycle shutdowns often trace to the limit switch or a struggling blower before condemning the control board.
Older Port Angeles furnaces with standing pilots have their own failure points — thermocouples, pilot orifices, draft issues that newer ignition doesn't have.
Zero response from the furnace can mean a wiring fault, not a furnace failure to avoid overcharging for parts you don't need.
Four steps, safety checked at every one.
Tell us what the furnace is doing and we'll get someone moving.
A stocked truck arrives ready to diagnose and often repair same visit.
Combustion analysis happens before any repair is quoted, then a flat-rate quote.
We re-check CO before signing off, backed by warranty.
Feedback from completed furnace repairs.
Pilot light kept going out on our older furnace every few days. Tech identified a failing thermocouple that two other companies had overlooked.

Furnace made a loud bang on startup that scared the whole family. Turned out to be a delayed ignition issue from a dirty burner, cleaned and resolved same visit.
— F. Ibekwe, homeowner
Called about a gas smell near the furnace closet and they had someone here within the hour to confirm it was safe before doing any repair work.

Landlord here with an older building, they've kept three separate furnace units running through two winters without a single emergency callout.

What Port Angeles customers ask most.
Clicking without ignition often points to the ignitor, but we confirm with a resistance test before quoting.
Yes — it can let combustion gases into breathing air, we won't run a confirmed-cracked unit, taken seriously.
A CO check is standard on every call, no upcharge.
We still service these older systems.
No-heat calls get priority routing, usually same-day even during high demand.
Uncommon parts might mean a follow-up visit to finish the repair.
